When I began applying for teaching jobs in Korea I remember being quite nervous.
I remained undecided, floating between recruiters. By chance, I found Jeju ESL.
While phone interviews with other recruiters had left me feeling unsure about my decision, my first chat with Jason changed my attitude completely. Previous recruiters immediately pushed me towards contracts, whereas Jason gladly answered my questions (and I had a lot of them!) and gave me time to think about my choices. Jeju ESL's firsthand knowledge of the island and my hagwon helped me prepare for the changes that I faced. My move to to Jeju-Do was my first time traveling outside of the States and Jeju ESL helped to make the transition as smooth as possible. Twenty-three hours after leaving Kansas I entered Jeju International Airport. I immediately picked Jimmy's smiling face out of the crowd and it couldn't have been a more welcoming sight. I couldn't be happier to be here and I couldn't have done it with out Jeju ESL.
